[journal-1.28.2010] a separate disconnection
Jan 28th
I’m starting a new section on my blog, the journal section, where I talk about that day and maybe if there is any significance.
Sometimes there is this gap between mind and reality where things just become distant and realistic. Where does this paranormal tie just become interconnected? Will there always be something blocking the view of the future? These questions are recurring every so often, and probably not just in my own mind, either.
There are things in this world that just are unexplained, and better unexplained. Being a logical thinker means that everywhere I turn I have to demand a logical reason.
Why do I do well in school? Why do I do better in some subjects than others? Why? The answer is the most logical one… there is reasoning behind the subject. The concepts of Chemistry is easily observable in the natural world, Algebra is easily applied, and the concepts of these things are just natural.
Where is the middle ground of Chemistry and Algebra? Well you could say applied sciences, but the path I choose to go is Computer Science. I don’t know the field within Computer Science that I want to be a part of. I would love to get into Quantum Computing, but everything is theoretical.
I also find a separate connection with friendships and relationships between people, just difficult. I may be surrounded, but I don’t feel like I’m anything when it comes down to the point where friendships are measured. I’ve lost the connection between many and it’s hard to imagine how people have friends. Friends are people you could depend on, I don’t see that.
Emotion towards others are just unsatisfying, it all breaks down at one point. Where could we go from here? Nowhere.
Yet friendship is there, but it’s too hard. If you’re there, thanks.
Mass Effect 2 INCOMING
Jan 13th

Mass Effect is a game that you may play even if you aren’t a gamer. If you are a lover of generic Science-Fiction, this is the ultimate game for you. This game will consume you as BioWare takes you in the epic story of Commander Shepard.
Mass Relays, Faster Than Light travel, Good and Bad, and much more are somethings to consider when you think about getting it. In actuality, why are you even THINKING about it? JUST GET IT.
Mass Effect is an RPG-FPS, which is built upon story and combat is not the bulk of the story. The soundtrack of this game is the best game music you may encounter for years to come. The music is a fundamental part for any game and Mass Effect nails it.

Now that Mass Effect 2 is less than 2 weeks away, it is time that we pay tribute to Mass Effect 1 which is now sold at $20. I can’t wait for it! EEEK! :]!!
“I am Sovereign. I am the Vanguard of your destruction. We simply are. Genetic Life is nothing but a mutation. We are eternal. We are the end of Everything. We.. are.. Legion.”
I miss the music and story. I will be playing Mass Effect again and giving updates as I play.
Impressions: CES 2010
Jan 11th
CES, or Consumer Electronics Show, is held annually in Las Vegas and this is the convention that literally starts off the 2010 consumer market. Last year it was all about the cell phone market, new developments in the headline game consoles, and HDTVs. The year before that was the big war with BluRay and HD-DVD. However, this year was the big step into the market of 3D HDTVs. Almost everything showcased at CES is standardized into the household within two decades. This includes the VHS, DVD, and HDTVs.
There were also a lot of green-tech which showcased a bunch of recycled or can be recycled gadgets. Last year, I believe, introduced the organic 1 Terabyte drive (1,024 Gigabytes or 1,048,576 Megabytes) which had a bamboo casing.
Sony and Netgear is pulling out a new technology that will work across the 2010 HDTV Bravia line and new VAIOs (Laptops), the ability to wirelessly stream what is on your laptop to your TV. (No Wires Attached!)
Also as expected were new cameras and cellphones, which most notably were the hybrid SLR (Those huge cameras that the paparazzi use) and the Google Nexus One, respectfully. (Google’s newest android based phone)
What caught my eye was that Netflix is now being offered on BluRay players that have internet enabled on them (majority), and that HDTVs are soon to come out with wireless networking out-of-the-box. (You will be able to connect to your wireless network at home)
Microsoft had power trouble on it’s introductory keynote, but aside from that CES 2010 has brought up a ton for the consumer to expect this year. There was also a 4K x 2K (Or Four 1080p monitors in one TV)!
